What is Menopause?

Menopause brings a range of physical and emotional changes, which can sometimes be challenging to navigate. During this time, women may face symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, sleep disturbances, and changes in sexual health.

Navigating menopause involves understanding the changes happening in the body, seeking medical guidance, adopting healthy lifestyle practices, and exploring various coping strategies.

In this round table discussion, my dear friend Valentina Ibirogba Unaji from Dames Hub and I discussed menopause, what it is, what we felt and still feel, and what we were not told. What it feels like and how to deal with it.

We had a couple of our older aunts tell us about their experiences and how they dealt with them. The session is jam-packed with useful information and advice.
